Break rooms and clinic vanities

A 8-foot run in an office park off Eagle Road is a remnant job if the color is in stock. We still template. Particle-board boxes get a plywood build-up before 3cm quartz sits on them. Clinic vanities want a honed or suede quartz so bleach wipes do not flash. We ask about chemical cleaners before we sell a polished white.

Cafe lines and reception desks

A waterfall reception desk is a different lift than a house island. We ask about freight elevator size and after-hours access before we book a set.

Why Meridian Property Owners Call Meridian Quality Countertops

Meridian grew off irrigation laterals into the second-largest city in Idaho. Most housing stock is production from the 1990s onward. South of I-84, Ten Mile and Lake Hazel plats still take builder laminate. North of McMillan, Paramount and Lochsa Falls kitchens often already have a first stone top that people now want to change. Old Town along Pine and Main is mixed: shorter runs, out-of-square walls, and cabinets that were never meant for 3cm quartz.

Climate matters for the set, not for the slab in the same way it matters for a tree. Summers run hot and dry. A dark granite that sat sealed in a truck can be too hot to silicone. Winter mornings on an unheated garage slab slow epoxy. We do not set stone on boxes that are still moving from a just-poured garage floor.

We work first person on the process: digital template, CNC in the shop, then a set day. We do not invent a crew size or a shop address on these pages. Calls go to an independent local provider. Ask that shop about credentials.

Materials we actually cut: 3cm quartz from Cambria, Caesarstone, Silestone, and import bundles; 3cm granite with an impregnating sealer; Carrara and Calacatta marble when you want it; plywood build-up on 34.5-inch boxes; color-matched epoxy on seams; 100% silicone at the splash. Tools: laser or FARO-style digitizer, CNC with a diamond wheel, seam setter, and a level longer than the island.

The Village at Meridian and the Eagle Road retail strip generate the commercial calls. Residential volume still comes from west Ada plats: Bridgetower, Tuscany, Century Farm, Sky Mesa, Movado, Settlers Bridge, Cadence, and Reflection Ridge. Those kitchens share a 25-inch depth and a standard dishwasher span. The work is the overhang, the island seating, and whether a 3cm top needs extra blocking inside a cheap box. We check that before we pick a white quartz that shows every seam.

Irrigation laterals still cut lots in older Meridian. They do not change the stone. They do change where a truck can stage an A-frame. Chinden, Fairview, Ten Mile, Locust Grove, Linder, and McMillan are the corridors we actually drive. Hidden Springs is a foothills HOA stop, not a production loop. Emmett is a separate day.

Our Countertops Process

Call and name the job

You call (208) 759-1631 . We need the city, kitchen or bath, quartz or granite if you know it, and whether the cabinets stay. A photo of the run and the sink helps. We do not quote a kitchen off a Pinterest board. If the boxes are not in, we wait. Same week estimates in most cases, not a clock promise.

Template after the cabinets

A digitizer traces the boxes, the walls, and the sink centerline. We mark overhang, seam location, and cooktop hole. South Meridian production walls are close to square. Old Town and North End Boise are not. The template is the contract for the cut. Swap the faucet after this and the drilled spread misses.

Shop fabrication

The slab is cut on a CNC. Edges get eased, bullnose, or ogee. The undermount sink cutout is done in the shop so the polish on the cut is even. Rods go under a dishwasher span when the stone is thin or the run is long. We dry-fit pieces in the shop when the L is tight.

Set, seam, and splash

Pieces come in on A-frames. We dry-fit, check level, then epoxy the seams and clamp. Silicone at the wall. The sink waits on the epoxy before a plumber reconnects. You live around plastic on the floor for a day. Then the job is yours to wipe.
